For this project, we were tasked with making a pattern and turning it into an editorial design about the pattern and its applications. I decided to make a pattern wrapping paper for Hanukkah. I used classic colors and symbols of the holiday to create this pattern and embody the spirit of the holiday. Visual hierarchy was also used to differentiate the main symbol of the holiday, the menorah, from other elements in the pattern. Below are the flat images as well as mockups of the spreads.
